Research Interests
I'm fascinated with "genes & diseases" and how to resolve
the suffering from genetically mediated diseases. First of all, we need to
find as many genes as possible related to those diseases. My interest is in
gene mapping to find the susceptibility loci and to sequence those. These
will eventually open the door to the ultimate treatment. In the future I have
plans to get involved in the continuing search for genes of schizophrenia and
depression.
