CGS scientists conduct global comparative gene discovery and characterization programs in numerous areas of biomedical research and follow an aggressive policy to protect intellectual property. The following areas are currently providing large numbers of potential targets for therapeutic intervention in common medical conditions including:

Colon cancer metastasis
Chronic bacterial pathogenesis
Chronic viral pathogenesis
Reduction of scar formation
Abnormal patterns of osteogenesis
Multiple Sclerosis (Biogen - pilot study)

CGS welcomes inquiries from potential industrial partners who may be interested in commercializing products in any of these areas.
